My name’s Magnus. I start every morning with a coffee and perusing sailboats for sale on various websites. I’m not in the market for a boat. I’m just that fascinated by them! Sailboats to be more specific. Of all sizes. Spotting a model I’m not familiar with get’s me excited to learn about it. In my youth I didn’t have the means to own a decent car, much less a boat, so the necessary skills had to be developed to get by with an old and partially crippled car and boat, resulting in learning to fix just about anything on either vessel. Living well within my means is part of my lifestyle. Balancing that with boat ownership is challenging to say the least. While the means have substantially increased since the days of my youth, applying a thrifty mindset and a frugal approach, coupled with a DIY willingness, is still a necessity to afford such frivolities.

With hopes that my website can inspire others to bring the dream into a realistic budget and make it a reality!
